Miss Vietnam 2020 contest launched
Young women aged 18 to 26 who are at least 1.65m tall are encouraged to join the event.
The organiser will select 30 candidates who have had no cosmetic surgery for the semifinal rounds, scheduled to be held late this year.

The contestants will compete in the categories of traditional costumes, swimsuits, question-and-answer sessions and evening wear.
They will also take part in two additional competitions highlighting their talent and charity work.
Five finalists will compete for the crown.
The winner will receive VND500 million (US$25,000) in cash and gifts worth several hundred millions VND, while the runner-ups will take home VND300 million ($15,000) and VND250 million ($12,000).
The organiser will also present awards for Miss Charming Face, Miss Sports, Miss Ao Dai (Vietnamese dress) and Miss Charity.
The winners will represent Vietnam in global beauty competitions such as Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Earth.
Miss Vietnam 2018 Tran Tieu Vi will support contestants during the event. Miss Vietnam 2020 will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television.
Miss Vietnam began in 1988 and is organised every two years. The contest has encouraged many young women to demonstrate their talent in their careers as well as charity and social activities.
