According to the provincial Industrial Park Management Board (IPMB), after 3-day holiday, by September 4, most workers came back work at the businesses in local industrial parks.

Due to many orders, all workers of Crystal Martin Vietnam Company Limited in Quang Chau Industrial Park (Viet Yen district) return to work on September 4. They will have a compensatory day off on Saturday (September 9, 2023).

That was because many businesses had urgent orders. Some others gave workers an additional one day off from the previous week or the next Saturday on September 9, 2023.

On this year's National Day, workers across the country had a total of 4 days off. However, due to many orders and production characteristics, more than 30 enterprises in Bac Giang's industrial parks with nearly 40,000 workers kept normal work during holidays. Most of which were enterprises with foreign direct investment (FDI) specializing in manufacturing electronic components and solar panels.

Some enterprises had a large number of labour working during holiday such as: Luxshare-ICT Vietnam Company Limited in Quang Chau Industrial Park in Viet Yen district (27,000 people); Vina Solar Technology Company Limited in Van Trung Industrial Park in Viet Yen district (more than 3,100 people); JA Solar Company Limited in Quang Chau Industrial Park and Vietnam Korean Industrial Park in Viet Yen district (nearly 3,000 people); Hana Micron Vina Company Limited in Van Trung Industrial Park (more than 1,600 people); Vina Cell Technology Company Limited in Quang Chau Industrial Park (1,200 people)…

Tran Thi Hoa, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Vina Solar Technology Company Limited said that due to many orders, 3 enterprises of LONGI-Vina Group (including Vina Solar Technology Company Limited, Vina Cell Technology Company Limited and Nwestern Sola Vietnam Company Limited in Van Trung Industrial Park) with a total of more than 4,400 employees worked normally during holidays who were offered salary and insurance in line with current regulations of Vietnamese law.

Large number of businesses and workers in Bac Giang's industrial parks keeping normal work during the National Day was a positive signal, helping workers increase their income. At the same time, it proved that the industrial production of Bac Giang is recovering and developing well.

So far, the provincial industrial parks have housed 419 enterprises, most of which maintain stable production. Many FDI enterprises continue to have a good growth such as: Enterprises of Foxconn Technology Group, manufacturers of solar panel and mechanical among others.

Currently, more than 200,000 labours are actually working in the provincial industrial parks, 33 percent of whom are from outside localities, 67 percent are native workers and about 7,100 people are foreign.
