The NA Standing Committee resolved to establish 9 wards of Viet Yen township. After its establishment, Viet Yen township has 17 commune-level administrative units, including 9 wards: Bich Dong, Hong Thai, Nenh, Ninh Son, Quang Chau, Quang Minh, Tang Tien, Tu Lan, Van Trung and 8 communes of Huong Mai, Nghia Trung, Minh Duc, Thuong Lan, Tien Son, Trung Son, Van Ha and Viet Tien.

Bac Giang province has 10 district-level administrative units, including 8 districts, 1 township and 1 city; 209 commune-level administrative units, including 175 communes, 19 wards and 15 towns.

The Resolution takes effect from February 1, 2024.

BAC GIANG - HLC Urban and Industrial Construction Development Joint Stock Company (HLC) won the bid to construct Bich Son new residential area project in Bich Dong town on total area of ​​5.4 hectares. Master plan of Bac Giang city and Viet Yen township approved

BAC GIANG - Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Le Anh Duong hosted a monthly conference in August to seek opinions on the schemes of the Bac Giang city master plan until 2045 (1:10,000 ratio), Viet Yen urban area master plan until 2045 (1:10,000 ratio) and establishment of Viet Yen township and its belonging wards.
