The Lao Cai provincial competent departments have to date facilitated the enterprises exporting the fruits through the border gate by various methods. Particularly, the lychees are arranged in the green line that allows the enterprises to activate the automatic customs clearance and self-declaration with much shortened time while prioritizing to clear the customs formalities for the lychee carriages prior to the other commodities.

Kim Thanh International Border Gate No. 2 is sufficiently equipped with modern facilities and wide area that fully satisfies the enterprises’ export demand comprising of the lychee. Thus, the traffic jam has not occurred recently, helping to avoid affecting the lychee quality before reaching to Chinese partners. Besides, the public order and environmental sanitation are secured.
The local authority also encouraged the enterprises and traders to boost up the export on this period of time before the soon coming of Chinese lychee harvest season. The Vietnamese lychee may deal with higher export pressure in the next few weeks.
