Accordingly, 35 teams with nearly 2,000 runners registered to participate in collective running race while 9 teams from the districts of Lang Giang, Yen Dung, Viet Yen, Tan Yen, Hiep Hoa, Luc Nam, Son Dong, Bac Giang city and provincial Military Command joined the marathon category.

The districts of Lang Giang, Tan Yen, Yen Dung, Luc Nam, Hiep Hoa, Son Dong and Bac Giang city also compete in the category for the Educational and Training group.

On March 21, the organizer held meeting with the team leaders to announce the running track, divide the table and the competition order.

According to the tournament rules, this year, each district and city send four teams to compete in men’s champion, women’s champion, young men’s team and young women’s team, with four runners registered for each. In the champion category, men will run a distance of 6 km and women 3 km. Meanwhile in the races for youth, men will run 4.5 km and women 2.5 km.

In the races for secondary school students, each district-level education and training division can appoint one male team and one female team. While the athlete will run 1,000m at collective running category (53 members per team). The organizers will arrange about 40 referees to serve the event.

Tan Thinh Construction Company Limited is the major sponsor and VNPT is a co-sponsor for this year run. All preparation tasks have been thoroughly done. The opening ceremony will take place on the morning of March 26 at Square 3/2 in Bac Giang City. The closing and awarding ceremony will be done at the same day.

The tournament is jointly organized by Bac Giang Newspaper, the provincial Youth Union, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Education and Training. The provincial level sport event has helped widely spread the sports movement among all classes of people.

7,000 runners to join Dalat Ultra Trail 2023
