Updated: 17:35, 24/12/2019
(BGO) – New happiness has recently come to the villagers in An Ba and Yen Dinh, Son Dong district, Bac Giang province. The early completed traffic project is put into operation, helping ease the trade exchange and accelerate the socio-economic growth.

The concreted road which surrounds Nhan Dinh village and links the crossroad at Yen Dinh commune to the national road No.31 looks like the white thread meandering alongside the fruit orchards. The locals cannot hide their happiness when looking at the newly completed road because it help ease their demands of travel, production and the way to school for the children.

The newly completed road from Dong Dau to Dong Tan village in An Ba commune is put into operation.

The 1.4km long road was commenced in August 2019 with total investment cost of over 4.7 billion VND (203,300 USD) from the Government’s 30a Programme about quick and sustainable poverty reduction.

Now all formalities are being conducted to hand over the project to the locality. Standing on the new concreted road, Dang Van Hau, technician of Hai Long Company Limited which acts as the construction unit still bears in mind the very first days when he implemented the survey.

After each hard working day and talking to the local residents, the technicians understood more the difficulties that the locals suffered as well as their wish for a new road. It seemed to encourage them to realize the dream in a quick manner.

Hau said: “Apart from the great efforts of the workers, the local utmost facilitation is the key factor for the smooth construction. The public security and social order were ensure during the construction period with close relationship between the construction unit and the locals”.

The contractor must follow the weather forecast to implement the project because the remote mountainous area is easy to be flooded after few rainy days, causing bad impact on the construction. Thus, they mobilized all machinery and human forces to work both days and nights on the sunny days.

The hard work is now turned into the beautiful and concreted road in Nhan Dinh village.

Son Dong district mobilized over 137 billion VND (5.9 million USD) from the Government’s 30 a Programme source to invest to build 19 traffic projects in 2019. New projects and support policies have helped the local residents enjoy a better life.

Similarly to the locals in Nhan Dinh village, the residents in Dong Dau and Dong Tan villages in An Ba commune have recently received new project. The 2km road from Dong Dau to Dong Tan village built with total expense of more than 4.9 billion VND (212,000 USD) has been completed and put in use, bringing the happiness to thousands of people in the poor localities.

The smooth traffic supports the travel and trade of farm produce. The road seems to open the future orientation which helps the villagers in An Ba and other adjacent communes to reduce the poverty rate soon.
