Next Media becomes exclusive broadcaster of AFF Suzuki Cup 2020

Lagardere Sports has signed a deal to transfer the broadcasting rights of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 to Next Media.

Under the contract, Next Media will be the exclusive broadcaster and distributor for the whole pay-TV system through satellite, cable, radio, Internet, mobile network broadcasting, and public screening in the four countries of Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia.

Lagardere Sports has signed a deal to transfer the broadcasting rights of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 to Next Media.

The AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 is scheduled to take place in October this year with teams from football federations in Southeast Asia.

At least 10 teams will be divided into two groups and play on a home-and-away basis with about 20 group matches and 6 knockout matches.

The Vietnamese national team are the defending champions of the tournament. They claimed a hard-fought 1-0 win over Malaysia in the final return leg at Hanoi’s My Dinh Stadium.
