Over 3,000 rural labors offered vocational training

(BGO) – Implementing the project “Improving quality of
vocational training to rural labors” under the National Target Programme to
build the new style rural area (period 2016 - 2020), Bac Giang province has
opened 90 courses of vocational training to more than 2,700 rural labors since
early this year, making up over 74.1 percent of the annual target.
Total expense hit some 1.8 billion VND (over 77,500 USD). Three localities of Yen The, Son Dong and Bac Giang city completed the enrolment plan.

To complete 100 percent of 3,640 trainees with total cost of over 2.3 billion VND (99,100 USD) of the whole year in September, the Department of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs actively coordinated with the competent agencies and localities to reinforce the communication and popularisation of the policy, instruction and inspection so that the training establishments can fulfil the assigned target, ensure the training quality and suit the actual demand of the labor.
Bac Giang’s teachers win high prizes at national teaching festival for vocational teachers
(BGO) – The National Teaching Festival for Vocational Teachers 2018 was held in Hanoi from September 15 – 21 by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA), drawing about 400 vocational teachers and instructors from 63 provinces and cities across the nation.
Australia supports Vietnamese firms with vocational logistics education
The Vietnam Directorate of Vocational Education and the Vietnam -Australia Human Resource Development Partnership (Aus4Skills) signed a cooperation agreement in Ho Chi Minh City on August 14 to implement a project promoting the engagement of businesses in vocational training within the fields of transportation and logistics.
VK Tech expected to become a key vocational college
(BGO) - Le Anh Duong, Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee on May 30 chaired a
meeting with the Vietnam- Korea Vocational College of Technology (VK Tech) reviewing the results of the academic year 2017-2018, assigning tasks and resolutions for
the 2018-2019 year. The meeting was attended by leaders of some
related provincial departments.
