Over 61,000 people in the province were injected the third shot. Viet Yen district has the most people with third Covid-19 vaccine jab (nearly 12,300 cases).

Bac Giang is the locality with good vaccination rate in Vietnam. Now, about 99.92 percent of adult population received the first shot while 89.42 percent of people aged over 18 years old were fully vaccinated. Luc Nam is the first district in the province to fully vaccinate all adult people.

Nearly 86 percent of students aged from 15 to under 18 in Bac Giang province were injected two vaccine shots and nearly 90.3 percent of children aged from 12 to under 15 received first injection.

The province strives to inject two vaccine shots to all people aged above 15 by December 31, 2021. Till the end of January 20202, all districts and city will complete the booster shot (third shot after 28 days receiving the second one) and first shot for people with underlying disease.

In the first quarter of 2022, the province will basically administer the third shot and start vaccinating children aged from 5 to under 12 in line with the instruction from the Ministry of Health.
