The number of candidates registered to take the exams in the Natural Science combined tests is 296,158, accounting for 32.9% of the total, while that for combined tests in Social Science is 498,516, accounting for 55.38% of same.

This year, candidates are allowed to register for only one among the two combined tests mentioned above, instead of taking both tests for high school graduation and college/university admissions.

A representative from the MoET’s Quality Management Department said that this adjustment helps candidates choose the most suitable tests that match their abilities, as well as relating to their desired profession in the future and facilitating admission to universities and colleges.

Of the total 900,152 candidates to sit the high school graduation exams, 643,122 have registered to take the exam results as a basis for admission to universities and colleges (accounting for 71.45%), down 9,878 compared to 2019.
