(BGO) – The Labor Federation in Bac
Giang province on June 2 visited to present the expense supporting to build the
“Trade Union’s Cozy House” to the disadvantaged members in Tan Yen district.
The beneficiary is Nguyen Thi Tuoi (born in 1980) in Tan Lap village, Cao Thuong commune who is working as the administrative staff at Cao Thuong Primary School.

Her family was rank near poor household. Tuoi’s husband passed away in 2017 due to severe illness. She lives with two little children in the old house that was damaged for years but she could not repair it.
Acknowledging her difficulties, the provincial Labor Federation mobilized 30 million VND (over 1,200 USD) from the Fund for “Trade Union’s Cosy House” to support Tuoi while the Bac Giang Branch of Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development presented 15 million VND (643 USD) so that she can build a new house.

The house was commenced in February 2019 with an area of over 60 square meters. Now it has been basically completed with a total cost of about 200 million VND (8,500 USD).
On the occasion, leaders of the district authority, Labor Federation and agencies presented many practical gifts.
Addressing the event, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Thi Thu Hong pressed that the authorities of all levels always pay special attention to caring and supporting the poor and those living in special circumstance.

For years, the “Trade Union’s Cosy House” programme has mobilized a huge expense to support the union members to stabilise the lives. The provincial leader hoped that Tuoi will take further effort in working and conquering the difficulties to nurture the children.
She also took the occasion to urge the levels, sectors and localities to pay more attention and call for the socialisation to realize the target of eliminating over 400 temporary houses in the province in 2019.

(BGO) - On December 17, a delegation from the Trade Union of the Republic of Korea’s Incheon city led by its Secretary-General Lee Joon-seon visited and had a working session with the Labour Federation of Bac Giang province. The leaders of the provincial Labour Federation received the delegation.
