He stressed, after 2 years of implementation, the province has successfully fulfilled the tasks and targets. The master plan of Bac Giang province is the first provincial planning appraised by the Appraisal Board and approved by the Prime Minister, which is an important impetus opening opportunities for breakthrough development of the province in coming time.

In the provincial master plan by 2030, it is targeted to promote all potentials, advantages, resources and human factors to develop Bac Giang province rapidly, comprehensively and sustainably. Industrial sector is defined as the driving force for growth attached to the new space to upgrade Bac Giang into one of the industrial centers in the region. 

Service sector will be diversified while agricultural sector will be sustainably developed towards safety, quality and effectiveness. The technical and social infrastructure will be invested in synchronous and modern manner.

In order to reach the target to become a modern industrial province and an industrial development center of the region, the province has planned for more than 10,000 hectares of industrial land in the next 10-year period. Particularly, there will be 29 industrial parks with total land area of about 7,000 hectares and 3,000 hectares expanded in 63 industrial clusters by 2030. Industrial development will be attached to urban and service development.

Besides, the province will diversify modern service sectors for strong and sustainable development, of which striving for breakthrough development of some potential and advantageous service sectors with high competitiveness. Bac Giang is targeted to become the gateway and center for transport of goods, warehouse, logistics and trading of the region while developing production, social and public services.

In order to achieve the above targets, the province defines 3 major solutions including (i) finalizing mechanism, policies and administrative reform, (ii) building and creating breakthroughs in economic infrastructure to meet the demands for development, (iii) comprehensive development of human resources, science and technology, creativity and innovation in line with the aspiration for dedication and growth.

Besides, the provincial Chairman spent time discussing and replying to some opinions and recommendations of the enterprises at this event.
