The Youth Division presented 10 new blankets, 300 sets of used winter clothes to the poor, near poor families and those living under special difficult circumstances in the commune. The gifts were donated by the youth members, staff, officers at the hospital.

Besides, the youth members also provided the locals with the measures to prevent several regular diseases in the winter, suitable living routine to protect the health, especially to the elderly and children.

Additionally, the provincial Red Cross Society (RCS) has joined hand with the clubs of Bac Giang Sunflower, Sharing the Love (Yen The district) to hold the charity and voluntary event of “Warm winter blanket” at the Van An Secondary school in Van An commune, Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province.

52 warm blankets were handed to the students at Van An Secondary school by the delegates in the ongoing period of extreme cold with a total value of 15.6 million VND (over 672 USD) donated from various kind-hearted people.

Apart from that, the RCS in Tan Yen district has launched the movement for the poor and Agent Orange (AO) Victims on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2019 (Year of the Pig) from January 1 – 30, 2019. All levels of RCS focus on reviewing and firmly grasping the subjects’ demand for support then make the list and call for the donations from the officers, staff, members, organizations and individuals as the spirit of “each organization and individual attach to a humanitarian address”.

The district RCS targets at mobilizing the humanitarian fund, appealing for the donation so as to present 200 – 400 gift sets, totally worth over 60 million VND (over 2,500 USD) while each red cross association in the commune and town strive for 50 – 100 gifts with total value of over 15 million VND (over 646 USD).
