Preferential credit programme for labour inked in Bac Giang
The trade unionists and labours are offered credit packages with preferential interest by two above companies, including cash communer loan with interest lower than 50 – 70 percent comparing to normal client, installment loan to buy vehicle, house utensil with lowest interest of zero percent, free issuance of credit card with no annual maintenance fee in at least one first year among others.

The provincial Labour Confederation committed to cooperating and facilitating the companies to access to all levels of trade union and labours to implement the communication programme introducing the service and encouraging the usage. Both parties will enhance collaboration to launch social activities, especially to support the impoverished cases.
The MoU will be executed till the end of 2027. The programme is within 20 trillion VND (over 806 million USD) preferential credit package for worker implemented by Vietnam State Bank and Vietnam General Confederation of Labour under the direction of Prime Minister since early October 2022.
Bac Giang is the seventh out of ten provinces and cities nationwide piloting this programme to gradually improve the spiritual and material life for the trade unionists and labours.

Thus, since 2017, the provincial Labour Confederation has inked cooperative agreement with 33 agencies and businesses in and outside the province to provide service and products with preferential price for trade unionists.
More than 58,300 people have benefited from such agreements with estimated benefit of over 4.3 billion VND. Besides, the partners have accompanied the trade union to present thousands of gift totally worth over 1.2 billion VND to disadvantaged unionists and labours.
