When citizens perform any public services integrated in the national e-identification app, they will not need to fill in their personal information on application forms, which saves both time and money.
They can also choose to share their personal data with a third party, via a QR code or other technical solution, once the third party can provide a suitable system to connect with the electronic identification and authentication system.
Citizens can replace ID cards and documents that are registered and integrated on the national electronic identification application, such as: Driver's licenses, vehicle registrations and health insurance; at the same time, perform financial transactions (payment of electricity and water bills, payment of social and medical insurance and money transfers, among others).
In the coming time, the MPS will continue to promote the application of electronic identification and authentication, implement a project on the application of population data, electronic identification and authentication systems, from the National Digital Transformation in 2021, with a vision to 2030.
