Remembering Uncle Ho's teachings, Bac Giang determined to turn itself into strong, prosperous province
His teachings during the visits became a guideline and a source of great spiritual encouragement for the people and army of Bac Giang to overcome all difficulties, hardships and sacrifices; promote patriotic and revolutionary traditions; stay united and strive to reap many great achievements and make important contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

To meet the new requirements of the revolution and the construction of socialism in the North, the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam decided to merge Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces into Ha Bac province in 1962. On October 17, 1963, President Ho Chi Minh and Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee Truong Chinh visited the province and attended the first provincial Party Congress.
Speaking at the event, President Ho Chi Minh affirmed: “With a large population, big land area and rich resources, Ha Bac has the conditions to become a rich and strong province."

During the past 60 years, Uncle Ho's advice has become the action motto of generations of officials, party members and people in the province. It has been concretized by the provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee into resolutions and work programmes implemented proactively, creatively and with high determination.
To make Giang "a rich and strong province" as Uncle Ho wished, in the coming time, the province needs to continue performing well the central and key task of building the pure and strong Party and political system. It will focus on doing well personnel work, building a contingent of cadres at all levels with strong political mettle, ability, quality and prestige on par with their tasks, meeting requirements in the new situation.
Bac Giang will continue to promote the movement of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; seriously implement Directive No. 26-CT/TU issued on June 2, 2023 by the provincial Party Committee's Standing Board on correcting working style and practices and enhancing responsibility in performing tasks to meet the requirements of the new situation.
It will continue to step up the implementation of three strategic breakthroughs set in the Resolution of the 19th provincial Party Congress: improving institutions, mechanisms and policies; investing in infrastructure development; and improving the quality of human resources.

Focus will be placed on the cultural field, building, arousing and promoting the will, aspirations and cultural values and standards of Bac Giang people in the new period. The province plans to properly implement policies to benefit people who rendered service to the nation, reduce poverty, ensure social security, and improve the material and spiritual life of residents.
The 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit is an opportunity for the Party Committee, administration and people in Bac Giang province to look back on their past journey and proudly report their great achievements in all fields to Uncle Ho. At the same time, Bac Giang vows to follow in the heroic revolutionary tradition of the homeland, striving to build itself into a rich and strong province as Uncle Ho always wished.
