Samsung Vietnam funds sanitatary system for schools in Bac Giang
Samsung Electronics Vietnam and partners ink the document supporting to build new qualified toilets for schools located at difficult regions in the northern province of Bac Giang. |
The document to this effect was jointly signed on October 20 by representatives from SEV, the Korea Food for The International Hungers (KFHI), and the provincial Department of Education and Training under the support of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations in Hanoi.
The project, worth 6.7 billion VND (294,800 USD), aims at improving the sanitary facilities, creating a healthy and clean school environment and raising the living quality for local students and many others whose parents work at SEV.
Accordingly, SEV will investigate the project execution demand locally and sponsor the cost of building twenty-six new qualified toilets which are sufficiently equipped with the clean water system, washing basin, water faucets, tiled wall, concrete yard, toilet seat among others.
The project will be completed for handing over in January 2018 and expected to be continued in the next years. Bac Giang province has provided SEV and Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen with huge workforces of 18,000 workers, accounting for over ten percent of SEV labours.
