Site clearance for the road connecting National Highway 37 -17 to Vo Nhai (Thai Nguyen) urgently accelerated
The Project was commenced at the end of December 2021, passing through the districts of Viet Yen, Tan Yen, Yen The (Bac Giang province) with total investment of more than 1,452 billion VND (61.1 million USD) from the central and provincial budgets.

This is a key project of the province, playing an important role, creating motivation for inter-regional socio-economic development in the province and connecting with Thai Nguyen province.
The Provincial Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Transport and Agricultural Works (PMB) is the project investor. The Consortium contractor of 559 Trading Construction Joint Stock Company - Tan Thinh Construction Company Limited - Hong Ha Investment Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company acts the construction unit.
The Project includes a main route and a branch line. The main route is divided into two sections. The first is about 28.5 km long; the second one stretches 13.6 km which are in line with third grade mountainous road, road base of 9 m and road surface of 8 m width.
To date, Viet Yen and Tan Yen districts have completed site clearance and handed over the site to the construction contractor.
The Project has completed 65 percent of the work volume. On the main route, basic excavation and embankment work has been done; asphalt concrete carpet has reached 16 out of 42.16 km; the horizontal drainage system has been completed with all 7 bridged constructed basically.
Some households in Tam Tien commune (Yen The district) have yet to remove the assets to hand over the land to contractor. |
The contractor strives to complete the project in June 2024.
After inspecting the reality and listening to the report, the PPC Vice Chairman Le O Pich requested Yen The district to highly focus on urging households to complete the relocation of assets on land before November 10, 2023 to hand over to the contractor construction.
The PMB was ordered to direct contractors to increase human resources, machinery, equipment and materials so as to speed up progress and shorten construction time.
