The teams will inspect food safety and hygiene in 12 provinces and cities from September 11 – 30.
They will inspect food processing and production, import and business establishments and restaurants, with focus on those producing and selling food most used during the mid-Autumn festival, such as confectionaries, beverage, meat and meat products.
Central- and provincial-level delegations will target the places supplying a large amount of food, such as large-scale production establishments, wholesale markets, supermarkets, trade centers and food importers.
Meanwhile, district- and commune-level inspection teams will examine small- and medium-sized establishments and those with restaurant services.
