Six items with export turnover exceeding 5 billion USD in 5 months of 2022

As many as 26 export commodities posted turnover of more than 1 billion USD in the first five months of 2022, accounting for 89.6 percent of Vietnam’s export turnover. Of them, six items enjoyed turnover exceeding 5 billion USD, making up 62.3 percent.

late May. So far, over 13,400 tonnes of fruits have been consumed domestically
and globally.

The Tuan on June 3 afternoon chaired a meeting with Prof. Nguyen Dinh Phu,
Chairman of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Network in the United States of
America (VENUSA), honourary repesentative of Bac Giang province, on trade and
investment promotion in the US and connection to export lychee and some farm
products of Bac Giang to this market.
Vietnam’s export to EU benefiting from free trade agreement
Vietnam’s export value to the European Union (EU) grew further in the first five months of this year, with a trade surplus of 13.4 billion USD, up nearly 47 percent, thanks to their bilateral free trade agreement.
Five month import-export turnover up 15.6 percent
Vietnam’s import-export turnover during the first five months of this year reached 305.1 billion USD, a year-on-year increase of 15.6 percent, according to a report released on May 29 from the General Statistics Office of Vietnam (GSO).
