As the old story, Thac Luoi love kermis in Tan Son commune was formed over one hundred years ago, bearing the unique cultural identity of Nung ethnic minority. The kermis was held once only on the annual January 12 on the lunar calendar. The special love kermis is not only for the couples to exchange their voice to search for their darling but also for the ex-lovers to sing for conversation. Previously, the spring kermis on lunar January 12 was held by Tan Son communal authority in the Culture-Sports festival of the ethnic minority groups.
