Multiplying the meaning of the lesson about solidarity

The whole political system in the province had strained to fight the pandemic in more than 2 months. The humanitarian value became brighter and the leadership competence of the political system from the provincial to grassroots levels was clearly demonstrated in difficulty.

When the province became the epidemic center, the teachers and students of Viet Tien junior high school in Viet Yen district launched the programme “Joining hands to fight the pandemic” with the message “protecting the community is to protect ourselves and our family”.

After a short time of mobilization, the school presented 15 million VND (652 USD) to the district Fatherland Front, bought necessities to give the epidemic fighting forces and supported students’ families facing hard condition during medical quarantine period with total donation of about 33 million VND (1,434 USD).

The epicenter of Bac Giang received continued support and sharing from every region nationwide. After 2 months reinforcing all forces and resources, the epidemic was contained. With the spirit “The whole nation support Bac Giang and Bac Giang do for the whole nation”, the levels, sectors and people in the province continued joining hands to help a number of provinces and cities to overcome the pandemic.

With the motto each party committee has an outstanding individual and each individual does a good deed, many breakthroughs have been effectively implemented and several obstacles have been resolved. Several good methods and outstanding individuals have opened up new models need to be expanded.

Particularly, Yen Dung district has high rate of industrial and service transformation with numerous industrial parks and clusters. The economic growth conveys potential complications. As the key force in protecting security and order, the district public security defines implementation of the Uncle Ho’s 6 teachings for the people’s public security forces attached to “studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style” as the target for each cadre and soldier to practice their firm courage, creativity and devotion at work and show cunning and bravery in fighting against criminals.

Farmer Nguyen Van Mui in Lieu De village, Tan Lieu commune, Yen Dung district is a good example in studying and following Uncle Ho from simple things. With his willpower as a go-getter, he has made great efforts to get rich in his home land. As he could see advantages in this land, he and other 8 members in the village established Tin Phat Aquaculture Cooperative in 2015. After nearly 6 years running the Cooperative, the Cooperative members and he have worked together to gain highest output with annual revenue of some billion VND.

In Tan Yen district, in order to build and expand outstanding examples, the district Standing Party Committee directs to build from 4 to 7 district-level outstanding models each year and urges each party committee, agency and unit to select at least 2 outstanding party members, officials and workers to nurture to become good examples. Thus, 15 district-level models gained good results with great spread.

Take a look back to the hard journey we have overcome to see the great efforts of the entire political system in the province. Notably, the province’s Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) growth rate reached over 7.82 percent in 2021, in top 10 localities nationwide, doubling the national average rate.

At the 5th session of the provincial People’s Council, Duong Van Thai, member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee stressed, the most impressive achievement was that the province awakened the spirit of solidarity and promoted the strength of great national unity to overcome difficulties and win the pandemic. The entire political system and people of all ethnic groups in the province have joint hands with great consensus to achieve the common targets. This is really a precious asset, motivation and power to help Bac Giang go quickly and firmly on the journey of development.
