Strengthening cooperation between Bac Giang province and Polish Investment & Trade Agency
At the meeting, Duong Van Thai briefed the guests on potentials and advantages of the province. Bac Giang is endowed with a huge land area, favourable natural conditions, convenient traffic and abundant young labor force. In addition, the province has large areas for fruit cultivation with many types of farm produce such as lychee, orange and veggies for export

In recent years, Bac Giang has focused on industrial and service development with a number of industrial parks and clusters. The province has created the most favourable conditions to attract domestic and foreign enterprises to invest in the province.
According to Piotr Harasimowicz, Poland has strengths in farm production, livestocks, high-tech processing and pharmacy. In promoting the traditional cooperation of the two countries, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency has carried out a number of promotion activities to connect Polish and Vietnamese enterprises.
Currently, Poland lacks of about 2 million laborers; hence, it is a big opportunity for laborers from Bac Giang province.
With the similarity of Bac Giang province, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency expected to become a bridge for close cooperation between the two sides in high-tech agricultural processing for export, vocational training, labor export and pharmaceutical production.

The provincial Vice Chairman Duong Van Thai stressed, the recommendations of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency are Bac Giang’s priority sectors for investment attraction.
Besides, the local governments, provincial departments and agencies commit to continue fostering administrative reform and better supporting for long-term operation of domestic and foreign enterprises in the province.
He assigned the representatives of the related departments to have another meeting with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency to continue discussing to clarify the issues interested by the two sides.
