Roman Kozłowski, representative of Lower Silesian Agency of Economic Cooperation Ltd, Poland pays a working visit to the Center for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Development of Bac Giang province. |
At the meeting, Dong Anh Quan, Director of the Center for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Development of Bac Giang province briefed the guests on potentials and advantages of Bac Giang province in tourism development and community-based tourism particularly.
Currently, Bac Giang gives priority to 3 key destinations for community-based development including Ven mountainous village in Xuan Luong commune, Yen The district, An Lac commune in Son Dong district and fruit growing area in Luc Ngan district.
Although these are potential tourist sites, they have not been properly exploited and invested. The province is calling for investors to develop the tourism products in the province.
According to Roman Kozłowski, Bac Giang province and Lower Silesia share many similarities that the two sides can share experience in tourism development especially community-based tourism.
However, two provinces should boost information exchange and offer specific recommendations for cooperation contents and implementation schedule as well.
By this occasion, Lower Silesia sent an invitation letter to Bac Giang leaders to pay a working visit to Lower Silesia province so as to foster cooperation in the fields of economics, science, culture and arts and participate the International Tourism Trade Fair in Wroclaw city, Poland in February 2020.
This event will lure participation of about 200 companies from 33 countries. This is a good opportunity for Bac Giang province to promote its culture and tourism to international friends.
The provincial Center for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Development will collaborate with related departments and agencies to prepare for the cooperation activities between the two provinces in coming time.
