Accordingly, the province plans to support community-based tourism development at Na O village, An Lac commune, Son Dong district, Ven mountainous village in Xuan Luong commune, Yen The district and the orchards in Luc Ngan district.

Community-based tourism development will contribute to protecting and effectively exploiting diversified and unique tourism potentials of the localities, providing tourists with environmentally friendly tourism products and improving living standards of local people.

Bac Giang will strive to make tourism become a major economic sector contributing to socio-economic development of the province.

This plan is focused on implementing the contents such as building the community-based tourism management model, establishing community-based tourism cooperatives operating under legal regulations and properly managing community-based tourism activities. 

Besides, it is aimed to share benefits from community-based tourism and strive for equality among the participants in community-based tourism activities.

In addition, it will encourage establishment and development of community-based tourism cooperatives such as home-stay groups, cooking teams, artist groups, guide teams and traditional craftsmen team.

It is necessary to continue providing training and guidance related to preservation and improvement of the cultural values and beautiful landscapes to serve tourists. Additionally, it is required to restore, conserve and develop the folk songs, people dancing, traditional rituals and festivals of the ethnic minorities to meet the demands for research and cultural experience of tourists.

The provincial Chairman requests the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism to collaborate with the General Department of Tourism and related agencies, units and localities to carry out surveys on community-based tours. 

Also, it is essential to strengthen promoting potentials and advantages for community-based tourism development, connecting tours and routines particularly linking the community-based tourism villages and hamlets with tourism associations and companies.

People committee of the districts with community-based tourism destinations are planned to continue fixing traffic infrastructure to the tourism sites and landscapes near the community-based tourism destinations. Besides, they are required to support facility construction serving tourism at the community-based tourism sites and tours to the orchards.

It is necessary to enhance state management by building policies on preservation and management of tourism resources while making plans to promote tourism images and trade brand of the districts. It is required to facilitate local people expanding tourism services and call for support from domestic and foreign enterprises.

People’s committee of the communes with community-based tourism destinations need to direct and boost the households in fulfilling community-based tourism criteria while guiding local people to carry out environmental hygiene creating clean, green and beautiful tourist sites and ensure security, food safety and service quality.
