(BGO) – Four
students at Tan My Primary School in Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province)
attended and won high prizes at the National Round Online Exam of Siam
International Math And Science Olympics 2021 (SIMSO2021), including two gold
for Hoang Thu Huong and Cao Thi Hai Yen at class 4A2, one bronze for Hoang Tuan
Hung at class 5A5 and one Achiever Medal for Do Trong Bao in class 4A3.
SIMSO is launched by International Champions in Education (Thailand) for students from grade one to twelve with passion for math and science, helping create the love for two subjects among the youngsters, enhance the creative thinking of students and extend international exchange relation.

It consists of two rounds. In national round, the candidates can register by themselves or under school.

The gold, silver, bronze and achiever medalists will be selected to enter international round to be scheduled in February 2022 in Thailand.

At the National round, the candidates solved online English – Vietnamese exam under the supervision of Organization Board via camera system. Within 90 minutes, they solved the math exam of 30 questions (25 multiple choice and 5 writing tests) and science test of 30 multiple choice questions. The math exam was scored on the scale of 100 and science of 150.

Nearly 500 million VND and 856 devices donated to support impoverished students’ online studying
(BGO) – In response of “Internet
and computers for students” Programme launched by the Prime Minister, as of
October 31, the Division of Education and Training in the districts and city,
educational establishments under the Department of Education and Training and
the Trade Union in the educational sector in Bac Giang province called for
donation of nearly 500 million VND (22,100 USD) and 856 online studying devices
to present to disadvantaged students.

face of the complicated Covid-19 epidemic, some young people in Bac Giang
province have researched and created products and means to serve pandemic
prevention and control. These initiatives promptly fix the shortcomings and
limitations in reality so they have high applicability.

district on 30 September praised 2 students Nguyen Dang Khoa, class 9D and
Nguyen Van Quang, class 8E for their bravery to save the friend from the deep
canal.
100 “Dreams on the wings” scholarships granted to impoverished students
(BGO) - The Bac Giang provincial
Association for Protection of Children’s Rights, Bac Giang Newspaper and the
provincial Study Promotion Association on September 19 cooperated to present the
scholarships of the 6th “Dream on the wings” programme in 2021 at
the districts of Lang Giang, Yen The, Tan Yen, Hiep Hoa and Viet Yen.
