Supporting Violon Club in Then village to buy instrument

(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Lang Giang district (Bac Giang province) has recently mobilized 74 million VND (over 3,100 USD) from the district budget to support Violon Club in Then village (Club), Thai Dao commune to buy the instrument and an amplifier.  

The Club is well known as the sole “violon village” in Vietnam with 11 key members who are farmers and take regular performance tours in several stages of the provinces and cities across the nation.

Particularly, the Club once entered the semifinal round of Vietnam’s Got Talent in 2012.

For years, Lang Giang district has instructed the Division of Culture and Information, Center of Culture, Information and Sports in the district, communes and towns to focus on building and establishing the culture – sports clubs at the grass root level. The district is now home to 264 clubs with thousands of members.

The localities hold annual activities of culture and art to provide the clubs with chances of exchange, study and experience sharing, hence helping remain and improve the operation quality as well as the residents’ cultural and spiritual life.
