The Embassy and Consulate General of Australia in Vietnam announced their plans to host the fourth edition of the Taste of Australia programme at a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on April 23.
The event aims to introduce Australian food, beverages, cuisine, and culture to Vietnam.

According to the Consulate General of Australia in HCM City, the event will be held in HCM City, Hanoi, and the central cities of Da Nang and Nha Trang in May, with a wide range of activities such as barbeque parties, film screenings, art programmes performed by Australian singers, cuisine and wine events, and cooking performances by renowned Australian chef Adam Liaw.
Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Craig Chittick said that Taste of Australia 2019 is part of activities within the cooperation programme between the Australian government and the two countries’ producers, distributors, retailers, restaurants and organisations.
In the framework of Taste of Australia 2019, a programme will be arranged to honour vitality, diversity, and young talent in Southeast Asian nations, including Vietnam.

of Foreign Affairs (DOFA), leaders of Bac Giang DOFA and Business Association
had a meeting with some Vietnamese Australians seeking for investment
opportunities and business partnership in the northern province of Bac Giang.
The meeting was attended by Nguyen Hoang Trung, DOFA’s Director and Nguyen Duc
Kha, Permanent Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Business Association.
