Previously, teacher Tuan worked at Luong Phong junior high school but he regularly took part in nurturing excellent students organized by the division for Education and Training of Hiep Hoa district. In order to facilitate his work of teaching and nurturing students, he was appointed to the junior high school of Thang town in the academic year 2018-2019.

“Chemistry is thought boring with many formulas but it is close to daily life. At my classes, I shed light on and create conditions for my students to study and grasp the knowledge while applying theories in practising and observing daily phenomena”, shared the teacher.

He has had a number of teaching initiatives particularly the material “different types of exercises for chemistry excellent students at secondary school”. He collected, classified and gave the best solutions for the exercises to suit the students’ perceptivity.

According to his colleagues, Doan Van Tuan is not only a qualified teacher but he’s also a responsible and enthusiastic teacher who helps his students with all his heart. In the chemistry team, many students come from remote communes who have different family’s conditions and characteristics. With different methods, teacher Tuan tried to understand and timely encourage them to overcome difficulties.

Thanks to his teaching and encouragement, many students have gained high achievements. Particularly, 7 out 8 students of the chemistry team won prizes at the contest for excellent students in the academic year of 2018-2019 with 2 first prizes, 1 second prize, 3 third prizes and 1 consolation prize. A number of his students passed the exam to Bac Giang High School for Gifted Students. Some outstanding students include Quan Thien Thanh and Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong.

According to rector of the junior high school of Thang town Nguyen Trong Manh, teacher Tuan shows great passion for teaching career who has been awarded certificate of merit by Chairman of the People’s Committee of the district and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee for many times.

Although he receives a bunch of praises from his colleagues, he said modestly, “The achievements have been gained thanks to great efforts of the students. In addition, the due attention by the school board and students’ parents help me fulfil my duties”.

A teacher of many excellent students at English

(BGO) - Teacher Pham Thi Van Nga (born in 1984) was assigned to teach at Tan Son High school, Luc Ngan district after graduating from the Faculty of English, Ngo Gia Tu College in the northern province of Bac Giang. In 2009, she taught English for Bo Ha Junior High School in Yen The district. Teacher Nga has demonstrated her teaching quality for both normal students and excellent students of grade 8 and 9.
