Two festivals in Bac Giang recognized as national intangible cultural heritage
The Ministry ordered Chairman of the People’s Committee at the localities owning the recognized heritage to manage the heritage in line with legal regulation on cultural heritage.

Tien Luc festival in Tien Luc commune (Lang Giang district) is famous for thousand year old Da Huong (Cinnamomum camphora) tree together with the architecture and art relic cluster of communal house, temple and pagoda.
Tien Luc relic cluster was recognized in 1989 by the Government as National Architecture and Art Relic, consisting of Da Huong tree, Vien Son communal house, Phuc Quang pagoda, Thanh Ca temple (or Tien Luc temple) and Thuan Hoa communal house.
The long lasting festival is annually held on lunar March 18 – 20 attracting numerous local residents and visitors.

Besides, mud-ball wrestling festival in Van village, Van Ha commune (Viet Yen district) bears signature identity of water rice cultivation culture, the desire for a year with favorable weather condition and bumper crops.
The ancient festival used to be suspended in war time. After the reunification day, it was resumed. The festival is held in every four years from 2002.
