Viet Yen township secures 1st position in indicators of governance and serving citizens, businesses
BAC GIANG- According to the statistics announced on the National Public Portal in late October, Viet Yen township secured its top position in Bac Giang province in quality of public administration in performing administrative procedures and providing public services in real time on e-platform.
Accordingly, Viet Yen township gained total 94.86 points (up 2.17 points compared to September). It gained high scores in all of the index groups and higher than the provincial average scores.

Particularly, it achieved maximum score (18/18) at transparency index, 19.9/20 points at settlement progress index (0.06 points higher than September), 18.5 points at online service index, 18 points at satisfaction index and 20.5/22 points at documentation digitalization, all of which are ranked 1st among 10 districts, township and city in the province.
Besides, the indexes of leadership, governance and quality of serving citizens and businesses in performing administrative procedures and public services in real time on e-platform of Viet Yen township have led the province since July 2024.
The set of indicators for assessment of the quality of leadership, governance and services provided to citizens and enterprises in the performance of administrative procedures and public services in real time in the electronic environment was approved by the Prime Minister on 23 June 2022 including 5 groups of indexes: transparency, processing time and result, providing online services, documentation digitalization and satisfaction.
This is a significant framework for the provincial People’s Committee to define digital transformation level in different localities to seek solutions for improving scores of each group of indicators.
BAC GIANG - Viet Yen township is implementing many key projects, many of which are expected to be completed this year, creating urban highlights, connecting regions, and promoting socio-economic development. Currently, the investors and contractors are focusing human resources to ensure construction progress.
BAC GIANG - The Minister of Home Affairs has just decided to classify Viet Yen township in Bac Giang province as first grade district-level administrative unit.
BAC GIANG - Viet Yen township has the largest number of historical relics in Bac Giang province. However, every year, the number of tourists to the locality remains modest, mainly for worshiping Buddha at famous spiritual relic sites and at the beginning of the year. To better tap its advantages, Viet Yen has invested in embellishing relic sites and building more tourist attractions, creating "highlights" that attract tourists.
BAC GIANG - Thanks to the resolutions on supporting to expand, revamp and update the roads in the village, residential groups and alleys that are warmly responded by the people, the rural road expansion movement in residential areas in Viet Yen township (Bac Giang province) has been done to dramatically change the appearance of villages and neighbouring areas.
BAC GIANG - On the afternoon of March 24, the People's Committee of Viet Yen township (Bac Giang province) launched the opening ceremony of the 23rd Quan Ho Folk Singing Festival in 2024. It is among the activities within Bo Da Pagoda festival, taking place from March 24 to 27 (or the 15th to 18th of the second lunar month).
