Vietnam learns from Japanese experience in building an e-government
On behalf of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Director General of JICA Tokyo, Hiroyuki Kinomoto welcomed the Vietnamese delegation, saying that JICA wishes to share their knowledge and experience of Japan with Vietnamese experts, thereby contributing to improving the investment and business environment in Vietnam, as well as the development of an e-government in Vietnam.

At the session, Noguchi Chisaki from the National Strategy office of Information and Communications Technology, Cabinet Secretariat introduced the reasons why the Japanese Government has promoted an e-government and also their experiences during the implementation process.
In the e-government promotion policy, Japan has paid attention to enhancing the convenience of people and businesses, promoting the circulation of public-private data; further improving services to facilitate operation of businesses, he noted.
For his part, Minister and Chairman of the Government’s Office Mai Tien Dung thanked JICA for exchanging and sharing valuable experiences.
He also expressed his hope that Japanese experts would continue to help Vietnamese officials in building an e-Government in Vietnam in a more synchronous and effective manner.
