The inactivated oil-emulsion vaccine, which was developed by Navetco Deputy Director-General Dr. Tran Xuan Hanh, is capable of protecting poultry against different avian influenza viruses, including H5N1 and H5N6.
It was tested at the No.1 National Centre of Vet Medicine Control and verified as meeting national safety standards for vet medicines.
Navetco has also developed a set of standards for manufacturing, testing, preserving and using the vaccine.
