With the theme of “How do you feel about causing others trouble. Is it okay if only you are good? Can you think about other people?”, this year’s festival took place in Minamiawaji City, Hyogo, Japan, attracting the participation of student groups from 15 Asian countries and territories and 10 Japanese provinces and cities. From among the more than 400 films, the organising board selected 69 excellent works to be honoured.

The film festival aims to help children pay more attention to the environment and society around them, nurturing them into emotional people. Through the making of films, it helps children to be able to express their thoughts and desires in daily life, from which they will come up with solutions and actions that bring a lot of good meaning in life.

The film was highly appreciated by the judges. This year, the organizing board presented 13 awards for the categories, including one special prize, four excellence prizes and eight consolation prizes.

Earlier, in July, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training held a film competition for high school students in Hanoi 2019 and selected three films representing Vietnam.
