Vietnamese Goods Week kicks off in Hanoi

Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade presided over and coordinated with the People's Committee of Long Bien District to organise Vietnamese goods week at Vincom Plaza Long Bien, Chu Huy Man Street, Long Bien District, on April 20.

The event has attracted more than 100 booths of enterprises and production and business establishments of Vietnamese goods in industries such as: consumer goods; industrial products; craft village products; agricultural, forestry and fishery products; safe, organic food; and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products.

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the Vietnamese Goods Week programme.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Kieu Oanh said that through the event, businesses have more opportunities to promote their brands, organise trade promotion activities, connect product consumption, stimulate consumer demand, and bring Vietnamese goods to people and tourists in the city.

On the consumer side, they have more opportunities to access and purchase quality products and goods manufactured by Vietnamese enterprises.

Vietnamese Goods Week will run until the end of April 24.
