The song has an acoustic pop sound with piano accompaniment. The lyrics are about a man's confession after his love story ends, realizing the girl had moved on and he was still lingering on past feelings.
Released on the evening of July 1, the duet received positive response from the public. Many listeners commented that Vu's Vietnamese lyrics help add a local touch and fresh vibe to the original song, which Graham sung by himself in his own music video released May 14.
Before the recording with Vu, he sang the same song with two female singers, Hanin Dhiya (Indonesia) and Janice Vidal (Hong Kong).
Vu was born in 1995 in Hanoi. He became famous on social media after posting self-composed songs in acoustic, pop-rock and other genres. His hits include ‘La Lung’ (Strange), Her Summer and others. In 2019, he won the Dedication Music Awards, considered the "Grammy of Vietnam", in the New Artist and Song of the Year categories.
Graham is the main vocalist of the group Lukas Graham. In 2016, the group gained global popularity thanks tothe hit "7 Years" that has pocketed over 1.1 billion views on Youtube. The song helped the group be nominated at the 2017 Grammy Awards in the category of Record of the Year. The group's self-titled album peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum in the U.S.
