Vietnamese products promoted in Myanmar
The event features over 120 pavilions from nearly 80 Vietnamese enterprises, introducing products in many diverse commodities, including food and beverage, machinery and equipment, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, equipment and components, smart solutions, and banking services.

The displayed products are expected to meet the demand of Myanmar consumers.
Speaking at the opening ceremony for the expo, Deputy Director of Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency Le Hoang Tai said that the Vietnam Expo in Myanmar has become an effective ‘bridge’, helping Vietnamese businesses promote their brands and expand their distribution system as well as help to learn more about economic policies and investment in the environment of the host country.
For his part, Director General of Myanmar Trade Promotion Organisation (Myantrade), Aung Soe, expressed his appreciation of Vietnam’s organisation of trade promotion events in the country, including the Vietnam Expo.
Vietnam is now the seventh biggest investors in Myanmar, with 25 major projects worth total nearly US$2.2 billion.
The trade turnover between the two countries reached nearly US$860 million in 2018 and is estimated at US$1.05 billion in 2019.
