The boarding house of Nguyen Van Tinh in Hoang Mai residential area No.3 in Nenh town (Viet Yen district) has six out of eight close rooms for 16 renters. After Lunar New Year holiday, Tinh used two remaining rooms as the quarantine space in case any worker is infected with the disease. The room for isolation is sufficiently equipped with bed, wardrobe, close and separate toilet and bathroom, which is used free of charge to share the difficulties with the labour.

Much differing from the concern to be alienated by others, two infected workers who rented rooms in family of Nguyen Thi Toan in Hoang Mai residential area No.3, Nenh town are fully supported by the house owner and their boarding friends to buy drug, food and essential things for living.
The convenient store of Than Duc Tho in Bai Xanh village, Van Trung commune (Viet Yen district) sell various necessities like rice, noodle of all kinds, fish sauce, milk and others. His family’s phone number is announced at many boarding houses and zalo group in the village so as to ease any contactor. Anyone wants to buy something, sends a message or makes phone call to place the order, Tho will deliver the goods at the place with most of amount transferred.
Active participation
According to the Medical Center at the provincial Industrial Parks, more than 1,100 workers were infected with Covid-19 (F0) on March 2, making up total number of infected workers to nearly 11,100 cases since February 16. Thousands of them are self-quarantined and treated at the boarding houses around the industrial parks.

Vice Chairman of Hong Thai commune People’s Committee Tran Van Thai said the commune has 1,156 F0s under home treatment, 800 of whom are workers. The owners of the boarding houses help the infected workers to buy necessities, foods to ensure the living condition during the isolation and treatment period.
The mobile Medical Station was set up at the cultural house in Hung Lam No.3 village with members of medical workers, members of Women Union, Youth Union and Red Cross Society in the commune as well as the medical staff at the local schools. The commune also established five groups with 33 members to assist to treat patients at home.
Doctor Than Van Ha, Vice Chief of Van Trung Communal Medical Station said right after a person gets positive test result to Covid-19, he/she will be provided with a list of telephone number of medical force to gain timely consultation. The doctors and nurses work in shift to ensure the emergency duty around the clock and meet the demand for health examination and treatment for local people and workers.
The doctors introduced workers to contact members of zalo and facebook groups “Hỗ trợ điều trị F0 huyện Việt Yên” (Supporting to treat F0 in Viet Yen district) when facing difficulties in life or health problem.
Apart from 19 mobile medical stations, the Young Doctors’ Association in Viet Yen district set up five zalo and facebook groups with member on duty 24 hour per day to assist, consult F0s under home treatment. They also had a specific group for pregnant women to help them gain sufficient consultation.
As the competent agency forecast, Covid-19 pandemic will develop more complicatedly. Omicron variant was detected in Bac Giang province so the rate of infection would be faster.
To stabilize the local area, ensure the life for people and workers, the departments, sectors and agencies in the district have actively participated in the shared battle by reminding, recommending people to restrict big gathering, strictly follow 5K message.
The Steering Board for Covid-19 prevention and control in the district printed and issued thousands of leaflets so as to guide people the way to follow when treating Covid-19 disease at home.
