Promoting solidarity and creativity, arousing internal resources, effectively implementing "dual goals"
The year 2021 passed and really left deep impressions in the mind of every official, Party member and resident in the province. In the first quarter of 2021, we had a good start and achieved very impressive results, with gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth rate reaching approximately 18 percent, the highest in recent years, naming Bac Giang in the group of provinces and cities with the leading growth rate in the country.

However, the fourth wave of Covid-19 epidemic broke out fiercely at the beginning of May 2021, changing the whole situation and the set plans. The province went through unprecedented difficult days.
For nearly two months, it was the epicenter of the country. With great attention, direction and support from the Government, and the spirit "Bac Giang for the country, the country for Bac Giang", we strongly aroused the strength of national great unity and mobilized the engagement of the whole political system to create great and comprehensive strength for all the people to overcome difficulties.
Overcoming days full of difficulties and hardships, after nearly 2 months, we controlled and repelled the pandemic. The whole province entered the period of post-pandemic recovery, and was determined to speed up the implementation of the tasks to compensate for damage and losses caused by the epidemic.
In the last six months of 2021, both the political system and the people in the province continued to exert efforts to maintain the achievements in epidemic prevention and control; and make the most of time and every opportunity to recover and promote socio-economic development. As a result, in the third quarter, the province’s GRDP growth reached 7.43 percent, creating a breakthrough in the fourth quarter with 14.1 percent, thus making an important contribution to the overall results of the whole year 2021.
Determined to fulfill and surpass 2022 targets and tasks
More than ever, the Party Organisation, authorities, business community and people of ethnic groups in Bac Giang province need to continue to promote solidairty, renew the way of thinking and stay creative in leadership, direction and monitoring. They should be determined and drastic in organizing the effective implementation of the goals and tasks in 2022.

Firstly, it is necessary to continue to focus on implementing synchronously, drastically and effectively measures to safely and flexibly adapt to, and effectively control the Covid-19 epidemic in the locality, with the goal of "health and safety of the people first and foremost" in the spirit of Resolution 128 of the Government.
Secondly, the province will continue to do well the building and rectification of the Party and the building of a clean and strong political system; improve leadership capacity of Party committees at all levels; focus on building a contingent of cadres and Party members who have the spirit of innovation and creativity, dare to think, dare to speak, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, and dare to face difficulties and challenges.
Thirdly, the province shall promote the wisdom of all cadres, Party members and people in researching, building, and promulgating mechanisms and policies to concretize guidelines and leadership orientations of the Party Central Committee and the provincial Party Committee in line with practical conditions, creating a driving force to promote the development of sectors and localities.
Fourthly, it will mobilize and gather maximum resources to well implement the two strategic breakthroughs in promoting the development of socio-economic infrastructure, focusing on transport, industry, urban and services, health care, education, and information technology.
Fifthly, it is necessary to boost administrative reform, improve business and investment environment, and raise provincial competitiveness, while stepping up decentralization, promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation to improve work efficiency...
Sixthly, the province will continue to promote comprehensive development of cultural and social fields; pay attention to solving labor and employment issues; well implement social security policies, policies towards people who rendered services to the nation, and poor households in order to ensure that no one is left behind; and strengthen and consolidate defense and security...
In the exciting atmosphere of a new spring, the Party Organisation, authorities, army and people of Bac Giang province are determined and united, striving to overcome difficulties and challenges to achieve more new achievements.
