Since beginning this year, the socio-economic situation of the district has seen positive changes with good results of many targets. Particularly, the value of industrial and handicraft industry is estimated at 1.9 trillion VND (82.6 million USD), up 13.04 percent compared to the same period last year. The district is accelerating progress of the constructions and projects.

In his conclusion, the provincial Chairman Le Anh Duong highly spoke on socio-economic development results of the district so far. He stressed, Yen Dung is a robust construction site with enormous workload; thus, he urged the district to pay higher attention to directing and implementing the tasks.

In general, the district needs to closely collaborate with the Department of Construction and Bac Giang city to better adjustment to the planning. Besides, it was urged to review public investment, evaluate capacity to arrange and balance the financial capital and provide more mechanism to mobilize resources to soon create traffic breakthroughs contributing to changing the district outlook.

It needs to urgently expand the traffic axis across the district from Tien Phong to Dong Viet commune (including the National Highway 17 and provincial road 389). The district was urged to reinforce resources to build the district road No 8 especially the district road 5B because this district road contributes to opening the industrial development space connecting to Viet Yen district. 

At first, it is necessary to open the route from Duc Giang and Yen Lu commune to Viet Yen district. Besides, the district should recommend mechanism to seek solution for building a bridge linking 2 banks of Thuong River for connection and development.

Regarding agricultural production, Yen Dung has great potentials and strengths in this sector; hence, it needs to focus on exploitation and development of high-tech agriculture. In order to improve quality of the criteria on building new-style rural areas, the district should pay attention to and support building 3 advanced new-style rural communes and 8 exemplary new-style rural villages.

In addition, Le Anh Duong ordered the district to focus on handling problems related to land clearance of Yen Lu industrial cluster while speeding up compensation for land clearance in phase 1 of Yen Lu industrial park. The district also needs to take initiative in investment attraction.

Apart from the above-mentioned problems, the provincial Chairman directed the district to foster budget revenue and better budget management especially in purchasing activities. Besides, it was urged to boost administrative procedure reform, enhance district-level administrative competence, create transparent investment climate, build up and strictly maintain administrative disciplines, accelerate administering the 3rd vaccine shots in line with propaganda on implementation of the preventive measures against Covid-19 pandemic.
