For years, the Voluntary Blood Donation (VBD) Campaign in Yen Dung district has received due attention from the leaders of the party and local authority of all level as well as the active response from the people of all strata.

The leaders of the provincial Red Cross Society and People’s Committee in Yen Dung district present the Certificate and insignia to the outstanding collective and individual blood donors.

Annually, the district collects more than 1,000 blood units, exceeding nearly 100 percent of the assigned target.

There are several outstanding collectives, families and individuals such as Canh Thuy commune, Dong Phuc commune; Yen Dung High school No.2, No.3; the Nguyen Huu (in sub region 3, Neo town); the Vu Tri (Tien Dung commune); family of Nguyen Dinh Quyet in Lang Son commune; Pham Van Thuong in the Security force at the district Public Security among others.

Truong Quang Hai awards the Certificate of Merit bestowed by the district People’s Committee to the outstanding collective and individual blood donors.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the district People’s Committee and Head of the VBD Steering Board in Yen Dung district Truong Quang Hai encouraged all officers, members of the party, labors, members of the youth union and the locals to actively join the campaign, hence adding to the blood reserve at the medical facilities and helping provide emergency cure and treatment to the patients.

Many officers and local residents joined the second blood donating festival in 2019.

On the occasion, the provincial VBD Steering Board and district People’s Committee honored 57 outstanding collective and individual blood donors.

As soon as the honoring ceremony, numerous officers and local residents joined the second blood donating festival in 2019. As the result, the Organization Board received 527 safe blood units then delivered to the blood bank of Vietnam German Hospital.

426 blood units donated at “Red drop of love” Blood Donation Day
