This year event left deep imprint on local people and visitors. The three day festival welcomed more than 120,000 tourist arrivals, up about 40,000 turns of visitors comparing to the figure in 2019. Many of them came from other provinces.

This year festival introduced many attractive activities such as the Bac Giang provincial Martial Art Championship, sport competition at district level like rod pushing, men and women football, soft volleyball, tug of war among others.

Also, it featured traditional water pupetry show, quan ho singing on boat, culinary contest and display of key products.

The festival aims to promote the tradition of solidarity, patriotism, independence and self-reliance. It generates the national pride and martial spirit of our people. This is also an opportunity for Yen The district to propagate and promote the unique cultural heritage values, tourism potentials, and typical products, helping contribute to the district's socio-economic development.

Luc Ngan taps traditional festival, develops tourism

(BGO) – Sloonghao singing festival and Spring market in highland of Luc Ngan district (Sloonghao festival) was among the events held in Bac Giang Culture – Tourism Week 2023. It took place from February 1 – 4 in Tan Son and Phong Van communes. Thanks to thorough preparation and warm response from local ethnic minority groups, it has echoed as the premise for the district to organize this year Culture and Sport Festival of Ethnic Minonority Groups in Luc Ngan district  and develop local tourism.
