251,600 citizens in Bac Giang use Bluezone app

(BGO) – According to the statistic from the Department of  Information and Communication, as of August 11, Bac Giang province had 251,627 citizens downloading and using Bluezone application for Covid-19 prevention and control, accounting for 13.95 percent of the total population.

Bac Giang city now leads the provincial localities in the rate of Bluezone setup with 40,289 users (making up about 23.12 percent of the city population) while Luc Nam district ranks bottom in the rate of Bluezone users with 22,327 ones (9.87 percent of the district population).

The Bluezone application helps prevent and control Covid-19 pandemic.

Previously, the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee issued document to urge the people to set up Bluezone application to detect person with close contact to the Covid-19 suspected cases, which is an effective and cheap method to prevent the pandemic.

Thanks to the timely alarm about the risk of infection, the Bluezone user can actively contact to the nearest medical facility and keep the distance to ensure the health condition for the family and community.
