(BGO) - The Japanese plant quarantine
agency has issued additional production area code for 27 hectares of lychee in
Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province to export to this market which are
located in Tan Son commune (12 hectare) and Ho Dap commune (15 hectares).
To date, 77 hectares of lychee in Luc Ngan district have been granted with the production area code to export to Japan. The qualified orchards must meet such conditions of lychee monoculture, clean-up and concentration.

After having the production area code, the enterprises will survey and link to place the order to the farmers.
Previously, Luc Ngan had over 200 hectares of lychee with the production area code to export to the US’s market.
Currently, the lychee is flowering. To gain high productivity, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development encouraged the farmers to focus on monitoring, pruning the disease affected branches so that the tree can spend all nutrition to nurture the flower as well as properly fertilizing and watering.

focused on caring for the lychee orchards to ensure the standard for domestic
consumption and export to demanding markets.

Japanese Ministry
of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries officially opened the door for
Vietnamese lychees
to be exported directly to Japan. The information is a joy for lychee growers in Bac Giang, which
boasts the
largest concentrated lychee production
area in the country. Reporters of Bac Giang Newspaper

Director of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, about
this issue.
