They are patient No.793 (male, 58 years old), No.811 (female, 33 years old), No.794 (male, 2 years old) in the 6 member family infected with SARS-CoV-2 in Dong Chu village, Yen Dinh commune, Son Dong district after their tour to Da Nang city.

Patient No.793 used to be a critical case with ECMO and mechanical ventilator support. He was delivered to the Intensive Care Department on August 14 under serious condition with high blood pressure and multi-infection.

On August 24, he must apply ECMO because his lung was seriously damaged up to 90 percent. After 4 days, his body proved effective response to the treatment and better. At noon of September 3, the doctor stopped ECMO application to the patient to use mechanical ventilator and respiratory support.

Now, patient No.793 can move by himself, maintain normal activities with 3 consecutive tests negative to SARS-CoV-2 virus. So he was announced recover from Covid-19 disease.

On September 22, 3 newly recovered patients were taken to the quarantine site after treatment at the second facility of National Hospital Of Tropical Diseases in Dong Anh district (Hanoi).

To date, patient No.674 (female, 57 years old, wife of patient No 793) has not recovered.

Previously, two patients No.673 (male, 34 years old) and No.744 (7 years old, daughter of patient No.673) were released from hospital to home at Dong Chu village, Yen Dinh commune.

Now they are under normal health condition with 2 recent tests proving negative to SARS-CoV-2 virus conducted by the Center of Disease Control in Bac Giang province.

Health of 5 among 6 covid-19 patients in Bac Giang greatly improved

(BGO)- According to information from the Department of Health of Bac Giang province and the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases, Facility No 2, health condition of 5 patients in the family with 6 Covid-19 infected cases in Yen Dinh commune, Son Dong district have been stably improved.

Bac Giang suspends isolation to F2 and F3 cases relating to Covid-19 patient 338

(BGO) – The Steering Board for Covid-19 Prevention and Control in Lang Giang district (Bac Giang province) has issued the correspondence to the communes and towns in the district to suspend the isolation method at home and residential areas to 323 F2 and F3 cases relating to Covid-19 patient 338 in the localities.
