387 teams compete at Bac Giang Robocon Qualifiers
BAC GIANG- The 2nd Bac Giang Robocon Contest themed ‘For a Green Bac Giang” was kicked off on June 8 at the Vietnam-Korea College of Technology with an opening ceremony and qualifying round for groups A, B and C. This year contest drew 434 teams including 1,146 participants competing in groups A, B, C and D.
Group A is for children aged from 9-11 (relevant to primary school level).

Group B is for children aged from 12 to 15 (relevant to secondary school level).
Group C is for those from 16 to 18 (relevant to high school level).
Group D is for those not older than 22.
Groups A, B and C attracted 387 teams from 10 districts, townships and city in the entire province.
For Group D, both qualifying and final rounds will be held concurrently as participants in this group compete directly with robots in both stages.
After over 3 months, the Bac Giang Robocon mascot design competition received 56 entries. Of which, the Organising Board awarded 6 prizes for 6 authors winning the “Bac Giang Robocon mascot design” category.
The first prize came to the entry RobotXanh (Green robot) (code No LV021) by Nguyen Thu Binh, a teacher of Viet Yen No. 2 High School.
