There are 108 public schools in Bac Giang city (including 37 pre-schools, 34 primary schools and 37 secondary and inter-level schools) with more than 80,000 students.

Acknowledging the importance of AI in the society, the city’s Education and Training Division has launched the movement to promote application of artificial intelligence in management, teaching and assessment activities at preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools in the city. The movement has received active response from teachers and students.

So far, schools in the city have been provided new facilities and equipment from state budget and other resources for learning and students’ activities.

Of which, they focus on exploiting digital platforms and shared learning resources to meet the requirements of digital transformation.

Particularly, the “smart class” and “digital school” models have been on the rise equipped with modern technologies such as smart boards, classroom camera systems, high-speed internet and LMS (Learning Management System) platform.

To date, all of the schools in the city have established STEM, informatics, robotics and software design clubs to help students approach closer to digital skills and technological mindset.

AI also play an important role in supervising and managing students’ records. A distinct advantage of AI tools is their ability to verify students’ identities through facial recognition, thereby enhancing data security in digital environment.

Besides, AI algorithms empower school leaders to optimize timetable scheduling, curriculum design, resource allocation and data management, significantly enhancing the efficiency and quality of educational institutions.

After the inspection at the end of the school year, 100 percent of the schools in the city were reported to apply AI in management, administration and examination of educational activities.

To date, all of the schools have implemented non-cash payment of tuition fees via banks or e-wallets, contributing to greater financial transparency.

In order to fulfill the mission of comprehensive education and training development and build a dynamic and modern educational environment that keeps pace with the social development, the city’s education sector will continue to advise the party committees and authorities to prioritize investment in infrastructure and equipment.

In addition, it will focus on training to enhance digital technology skills for officials, teachers, and students and continue to affirm its pioneering role in the comprehensive, modern and humanity education development, deserving to be an outstanding example of the entire education sector.
