50 scholarships handed over to students in Yen The district

(BGO) – The Bac Giang provincial Association of Study Encouragement, Department of Education and Training, Fatherland Front’s Committee and Viettel Bac Giang branch on September 1 coordinated to launch the programme “Vi em hieu hoc or For studious students” in seventh year in Yen The district.    

The programme is done to support the impoverished students with good academic result and morality to partially ease their difficulties to well study, stabilize the living and pursuit startup in the future.

The Organization Board hands over the total value of 2020 scholarship of 520 million VND (22,400 USD).

It has been launched for 10 years (2014 - 2024) in 52 poor and safe area communes in 5 districts of Hiep Hoa, Yen The, Luc Nam, Luc Ngan and Son Dong. For 6 years, 3,120 “For studious students” scholarships have been granted to the students via the programme.

The Organization Board presented 50 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND (43.1 USD) to students at 5 communes of Canh Nau, Dong Huu, Dong Tien, Tien Thang and Dong Vuong.

On the occasion of new academic year, the programme organizer handed over 520 scholarships to 520 studious students living in difficult circumstances in 52 communes in the districts of Hiep Hoa, Yen The, Luc Nam, Luc Ngan and Son Dong (each worth 1 million VND).
