The financial support was given by Hung Thinh Land JSC.

Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh presented the aid to needy households in Quang Nam province, each with 50 million VND, at a ceremony in Tam Ky city on December 16.

Some 500 disadvantaged families in five central provinces receive financial aid worth a total of 25 billion VND (1.07 million USD) to build their own houses.

Speaking at the event, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh said the Party and State always care for the life of poor people, particularly those living in central Vietnam who suffered from many losses during the past wars and have been struggling to make ends meet. Many of them are living in houses in very poor condition, she added.

She also lauded the gesture of enterprises like Hung Thinh Land JSC, who has not only contributed largely to the State budget but also made generous donations to charity.

Earlier this year, Hung Thinh Land JSC has funded the building of 190 charitable houses for disadvantaged households in Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Long, Binh Dinh and Ba Ria – Vung Tau.

VinGroup presents 4,000 gift packages to the poor and AO victims

(BGO) – Responding to the movement of “Tet for the poor and Agent Orange  (AO) Victims”, the Kind-Heart Fund (under VinGroup) mobilized 2 billion VND (over 85,800 USD) to present 4,000 gift packages (each worth 500,000 VND or 21.46 USD) to the needy cases in the upcoming Lunar New Year 2019 via the Red Cross Society (RCS) in the northern province of Bac Giang. 

 

Nearly 9 billion VND donated to Fund for the poor

(BGO) – According to the Fatherland Front’s Committee (FFC) in the northern province of Bac Giang, nearly 9 billion VND (over 385,000 USD) was donated to the Fund for the poor  at all levels of province, district and city by the organizations, agencies and enterprises after the Action month for the poor lasting from October 17 to November 18. 

 

Over 1 billion VND donated to provincial “Fund for the Poor”

(BGO) – Responding to the Action month for the Poor, 90 organizations, agencies and enterprises donated more than 1 billion VND (about 43,000 USD) to the provincial “Fund for the Poor” as of November 12, according to the Fatherland Front’s Committee (FFC) in the northern province of Bac Giang. 

 

Bac Giang calls for 29,000 Tet gifts to poor people and AO victims

(BGO) – Implementing the programme to support the needy cases on the Lunar New Year 2019 (Ky Hoi), the Red Cross Society (RCS) in the northern province of Bac Giang has recently launched the donation of “Tet for the poor and Agent Orange/ Dioxin victims (AO victims)”.

(BGO)- The programme of “Each organization and individual plays as a humanitarian address” is an effective method implemented by the sectors, organizations and unions in the northern province of Bac Giang to support the poor and especially disadvantaged households. Thanks to the programme, enormous resources have been mobilized to help them overcome the disadvantages and improve the living.
