Implementing the correspondence No 2840/BCT-XNK dated May 26, 2022 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on selecting reputable exporters in 2021, the Ministry has collaborated with related ministries, agencies, associations of different commodities and department of industry and trade of the centrally-run provinces and cities to select and public the short list of “reputable reporters” in 2021 on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for mass opinions.

This activity is necessary to help Vietnamese enterprises promote their exports and expand markets especially when Vietnam participates in a number of bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements.

Based on recommendations from 54 agencies and organizations, including relevant ministries, sectors, associations for different commodities, and departments of industry and trade in localities around Vietnam, the Ministry of Industry and Trade selected 281 enterprises of 27 commodities. Of which, there are 6 enterprises from Bac Giang province including Ha Phong Export Garment Joint Stock Company, Crystal Martin Vietnam Company Limited, Bac Giang LGG Garment Corporation, Minh Duc branch of Ha Bac Export Garment Company Limited, Ha Bac Export Garment Company Limited and Bac Giang BGG Garment Corporation.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade expected Vietnamese prestigious exporters would continue making efforts and promoting their achievements in coming time to affirm their position in the world business community.

Vietnam’s garment exports hit 22.3 billion USD in first half of 2022

ILO and Netherlands support Vietnam to address future skills needs in garment sector
